ADVICE FROM A A REAL FASHION EXPERT

LANVIN `S ALBER ELBAZ MAIN STYLE LESSONS

1) WEAR THE TYPE OF CLOTHES THAT LET YOU BE WHO YOU REALLY ARE.

That`s why there is a return to practical clothes, and by that I don’t mean boring. There must be outfits for the office, home and for play

2) CHOOSE COMFORTABLE FITS

A woman needs to move freely in her clothes rather than being trapped in them.

3) TAKE A HIGH-FASHION APPROACH TO LOWER –PRICED CLOTHING

Wait for the piece that satisfies you instead of searching for a bargain.

4) TRUST THE MIRROR

The mirror never lies. Stop long enough to look in it and it will reveal what`s right for you.

5) BUY SHOES TO WALK IN

Feel at ease with the right shoes and you ll look amazing in whatever outfit you have chosen.

6) RESPECT YOUR AGE

Nothing is more appealing than someone who embraces her maturity. Please, never look back

7) FIND YOUR COLORS

When you discover a shade that works well with you, go for it. The right color gives you power.

8) BE SELECTIVE,NOT IMPULSIVE.

Before you jump in and buy, buy, buy , consider what you need.

The Victoria and Albert Museum presents one of the most influential and enigmatic fashion designers of the last forty years, Yohji Yamamoto. Yamamoto is a visionary designer who has made a vital contribution to fashion, challenging traditional norms of clothing with his avant-garde style. This is his first major solo show in the UK and is an installation-based retrospective showcasing over 80 women's and menswear garments, which are most representative of his work.

DESFILE LAURENCIO ADOT by Sofia Fauve.
